Eight mistakes on a first HubbuyCN order
None of these are exotic. They are the ordinary errors people make once, remember forever, and could have skipped by reading one page first. They are ordered roughly by how often we see them come up.

Pasting the wrong kind of link
A search results page or a shop front cannot become an order. Open the item first, then copy the address of that one product page.
Missing a wholesale minimum
A 1688 price that looks impossible next to Taobao usually is. Wholesale listings carry seller minimum quantities, so check before you get attached.
Trusting the letter on the label
An L on a marketplace listing is not your L. Measure a garment you own and compare centimetres against the chart.
Shipping one small item alone
International freight has a floor. A pair of socks on its own can cost more to ship than to buy. Let it wait for company.
Expecting the check to test electronics
The published scope is appearance. It does not cover function or authenticity, and sealed packaging is not opened.
Ignoring route restrictions
Cells, magnets, liquids and powders narrow your options, sometimes after the item is already in the warehouse. Check first.
Forgetting the second payment
Goods first, parcel later. People budget for the first number and are surprised by the second one weeks later.
Signing for a damaged box
Photograph anything wrong on the day it arrives. Claims have deadlines and evidence gathered later is worth much less.
The one that costs the most
Sizing. It is not close. Everything else on that list costs you a delay or a modest fee, but a garment that does not fit has to be shipped back across the world or given away, and neither is cheap.
Two minutes with a tape measure before you order removes the whole category of problem. Measure flat, in centimetres, and compare against the chart in the listing rather than against the letter.
